When I look back on 2015 I remember it for many personal things, some sad but most of them happy. 2015 was an amazing learning adventure for me because a lot of the animal related courses and workshops I was interested in, I actually completed or attended and I made some lovely friends along the way.
It started last January with me completing my reiki 1 and 2 and later attending an animal reiki workshop to enable me to use reiki with cats and other animals. Reiki works so well with cats, calming them down and helping to balance their mind, body and emotions. Cats can be very timid and stressed and reiki has helped with some of my cat sitting customers and also with my own cat with his stress/bladder problems.
I also attended an animal healing weekend with the well known Elizabeth Whiter, which was wonderful.
Later on I was lucky to attend an animal reiki course with Jo Rose and I also completed an online animal reiki course with Kathleen Prasad.
All the wonderful teachers have their own styles and I found it interesting to pick and mix with the different ways people use to heal animals.
I also completed a course in feline behaviour which I have been meaning to do for years but never got round to it and you will be pleased to know I passed with distinction (well it would have been embarrassing if I hadn’t!!)
Finally in November I attended a workshop with the wonderful James French who has developed the Trust Technique, this is a healing method that is using reiki with animal communication, truly inspirational man!
So with all that and quite a lot of books read, mostly feline related, I think 2015 was a fantastic year for learning and study.
