Rachel is an A1 cat sitter

She is kind, competent, professional and reliable

One of our cats recently had to have a leg removed following a road traffic accident soon before we were due to go on holiday! Not ideal, but Rachel took the news completely in her stride and was very reassuring.

Then once we we were away, the other cat had difficulty breathing in the hot weather and Rachel had to send him to cat hospital!

She kept me fully updated and managed both cats brilliantly while we were away, giving me peace of mind.

When we got home both cats were happy, well and actually pleased to see us!

I highly recommend her. She is a lovely lady and brilliant at her job.

Rachel has dealt marvellously with various medical needs and behavioural issues, and we feel one hundred per cent comfortable leaving Rachel in charge of our cats.

She’s taken the time to get to know them as well as offered exceptional care to both a very old cat and a cat with complicated medical needs (both now sadly passed on).

We’d like to say a big thank you to Aunty Rachel for looking after our cats, Lucy and Cleo, when we go away.

They are much happier in their own home than in kennels, and we know the house is visited daily.

Rachel was brilliant when my mother was taken to hospital following a fall.

She stepped in immediately to make twice daily calls to care for Mother’s cat, who bonded with Rachel right away.

Rachel really understands cats (not to mention anxious owners!) and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Thank you Rachel for giving us peace of mind at a difficult time.

I’ve been leaving my fur babies in the competent hands of Rachel for over ten years now.

I consistently experience her as conscientious, reliable and trustworthy.

Recently we went on holiday, thinking we’d have to cancel last minute but knowing Rachel as we do, I felt sure that my boy Seamus would be fine even though he had just had an acute attack on his kidneys, meaning a hospital stay, and a subsequent push into stage 4 kidney failure.

All this a couple of weeks prior to our departure date. Liaising with the Cat Clinic, Rachel and SCV hospital, Seamus and my two girls were very well taken care of in our absence.

Rachel had carte blanche to decide at any stage according to her expertise as to the welfare of Seamus and what action to take. She was in daily contact with us, Seamus thrived in her care and we felt secure in her enough to enjoy our time away.

Rachel will go the extra mile for your fur babies. We whole heartedly recommend her.

Rachel is such a caring, reliable cat-sitter and genuinely gives love and time to our little fur baby, Boo.

Knowing that Boo is being looked after so lovingly in her own home gives us real peace of mind when we are away.

She has given Boo presents and even left us milk when she knows we wont have any to come back to – that’s typical of her very personal service.

I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Rachel always looks after Tigger and Frodo when we go away. They love her.

Wouldn’t leave them with anyone else as she knows them and they know her.

We didn’t use a cat sitter until our lovely Bobo got ill with thyroid issues, then she had to have regular medication.  When we went away I wanted to know that someone with experience of cats would be looking after her, because they hide illness or pain so well.

Rachel is fantastic, caring for cats is her passion and not just a job; Bobo loved her to bits & I’m sure Bobo wasn’t happy when we came home sometimes, she’d had so much loving attention from Rachel.
